What are you reading right now?
Throughout your time interviewing with the faculty at the Western University of Health Sciences PA program, they will ask many questions to get to know you and your interests a bit further. With this question, they're curious if you look to feed your mind regularly and to hear what kind of literature you prefer and why.
"I have always been a big fan of modern fantasy literature like Tolkien, but I have focused the last year on reading more interpersonal effectiveness books. A current professor recommended 'The Fine Art of Small Talk,' and it has been a fascinating read on improving listening skills and tactics for starting conversations."
Talk openly and honestly to your interviewers about a book you are currently reading. If you are not currently reading a book, be honest about that and talk about one that has impacted you the most. Remember that your preferred reading can be for professional development or entertainment.
