As a future physician, how do you plan to use your role to benefit members of your community? Do you think volunteering is important?

"Bettering my community is going to be a big part of what I do as a physician. I already spend much of my time volunteering at the local children's hospital, and I plan to continue my volunteer work after medical school. One specific way I will help my community members is by holding free workshops every month. The workshops will tackle tough issues that the community is facing, such as narcotics abuse and increased teen suicide rates."
