"Our company offered a fantastic 'opportunity buy' for a great wine. This was a one-time featured product. We aimed to push this item and boost our sales company-wide. Initially, the product was underperforming. I had an idea for a new merchandising approach and sold one of my clients on this approach. So I built a truly unique merchandising display for this opportunity buy and added some custom signage. My inventive display resulted in this location selling out. I took photos, tracked the numbers, and then offered my results to the rest of my clients. Soon they all requested the product. Within the week, the item was out of stock, and I gained the attention of our regional manager, who expressed gratitude for my hard work. I was awarded number one in the region that month."
