Try to keep it short and succinct. Cover the basics, such as who you are, what set you on your career path, your humble beginnings and where you hope your ambition will take you.

As you deliver your interview, its algorithm records and analyzes your performance. It then compiles a report assessing your performance before handing over the recorded interview and report to GSK's hiring authority. This question tests how adaptable you are as a professional and whether you would be willing to do whatever it takes to further your career while meeting the needs of the company you take pride in representing. Familiarize yourself with the expectations of the company and the job you are applying for. On their webpage, they suggest that you "outline your suitability, and why this role is right for you at this stage in your career. Use the job description to guide you on the areas you should emphasize." This advice could apply to this question as well. If you are expected to travel, it will probably detail that in your job description. But be prepared to answer with confidence, whether it is in the job description or not.

However, this is entirely based on business need and there is no guarantee that you will be able to work abroad. HireVue's algorithms will record and analyze your interview performance. It may evaluate your facial expressions, eye movements, body movements, clothing details, and vocal inflections. It will likewise examine the consistency between your answers and your level of honesty to determine your experience level and to predict your future job performance. That information, with the recorded interviews, is passed on to the company's hiring authority for further study. Once a question is posed, you'll be allowed roughly 20-30 seconds per question to formulate your response. Once it starts recording, you'll have up to three minutes to answer. There are no retakes. GSK's assessment vendor, HireVue, assesses data points in the recorded videos to identify the top performers and those most suited to the company's goals and culture. They design each assessment model with purpose, "built for a specific job role after following these critical steps: Ensure that there is a clear performance indicator for the job role that differentiates the strongest from the least promising performers. Ask the right questions to elicit responses that can be measured and that are pertinent to predicting job performance based on IO psychology research. Train the model to notice everything relevant in the interview (what someone says and how they say it), and build a model that uses only the data points that help predict success in the job."

However, if you're just trying to land a job anywhere because you need work, don't assume they are looking for anyone qualified to do the job. They take pride in what they've built and want to know if you take pride in what you do.

An in-person interview is typically held in a controlled environment. Yet, when you conduct a video interview, it is up to you to find a controlled environment that is exemplary of your professionalism. GSK suggests that "if you have family members or pets at home, let the interviewer know there might be some background noise. Use headphones to make the call if possible. The reason you want your camera angle to be at eye level is when it is positioned too low, it may make you seem domineering. Positioned too high, and it will make it seem as if they are looking down at you, making you seem weak or small. So center it, and make sure your lighting is equally balanced as well. Maintain eye contact in front of the camera as if you're speaking face-to-face with a person. Be mindful of your facial expressions. Furrowing your brow while concentrating on how to answer a question can easily be misinterpreted as exhibiting anger, which would raise a red flag.

It will also monitor your hand movements, head movements, facial expressions, and eye movements.

Hiring teams can be instantly calibrated with provided job-related attributes and behavior examples validated by IO psychologists." They aim to provide "consistency to the interview process. Each candidate is asked the same questions and is reviewed using the same criteria. This, in turn, allows HireVue's customers to quickly hire better quality, more diverse applicants to fill their roles." This includes how consistent your non-verbal cues are with what you say and whether you unintentionally contradict yourself from answer to answer or from what you've detailed on your resume. This will also inform them of your attention to detail and the consistency they can expect from your work performance.

The assessment model is asking you to give them a reason to hire you while studying your behavior to ascertain if you believe in what you are saying. They are evaluating your verbal and non-verbal cues for signs of honesty and confidence in your skills and whether you can identify what sets you apart from the other candidates. Answer with sincerity. If you can align your interests with the elements of what this opportunity offers, all the better.

Align your motives and purpose for choosing a rewarding career in healthcare with their values and purpose. This will offer them assurances you are less likely to burn out on a career you find rewarding. Also, even though you want to be consistent in your tone and answers, you want to vary them. Speaking too fast could make you come across as seeming nervous or rushed. The best thing you can do is to carefully study the job description and be sure that you have examples and real experience behind you to "show what you know" about doing that job well."

To ensure accessibility, you must first ensure the research, development, and distribution are sustainable for these life-saving, or quality of life-enhancing, drugs. I greatly admire GSK's balanced approach; it was a great motivator for my pursuit of this position."

Many of the answers to the questions asked in an interview are company-centric and available on their website. When answering a question like this, you should never guess. However, if you don't remember seeing such an answer on their site, take a more diplomatic approach without taking sides.

And don't spend time trying to think of something on the spot.

Remember, the body language and facial expressions you want to maintain are relaxed and confident. When confused or concentrating, we tend to furrow our brow or redirect our gaze. However, this could easily be misinterpreted by the algorithm. So practice relaxing your brow and widening your eyes. Tilt your head slightly and nod slowly. Speak softly and with ease. But most importantly, come to the interview prepared.

Give yourself some time before your interview starts to enter the virtual interview room. Ensure your computer's camera is working and that your sound and lighting are suitable for your interview. Close out other applications and turn off your notifications as well. Make sure your phone is silenced, and eliminate any distractions. Have a glass of water or a cup of coffee next to you. Make sure you're in a quiet, well-lit space that is free of distractions. GSK offers similar common sense advice on their website, "Familiarize yourself with the technology you'll be using. "I read all the typical journals, such as The Journal of the American Medical Association, The New England Journal of Medicine, and the Lancet, among many others. Also, when exploring career opportunities with GSK, I discovered Behind the Science magazine. I spent a great deal of time reading, and now I'm hooked."

So when you answer this question, you want to come across as a trusted resource of information they can rely upon to effectively handle the responsibilities of this position. Such nonverbal cues include decreased positivity, less eye contact and more gaze aversion, fewer smiles, greater interpersonal distance, and increased blinking. Consider these points when formulating your answer.

"I suppose it would depend on the behavior, but I would intervene and likely report it, depending on the circumstance and how egregious the transgression is.
