What was your most rewarding experience helping someone before?

I have a friend who came from Taiwan. Like me, English is her second language. I try to help her as much as I can. I help her to correct her mistakes in her essay. I also teach her about grammar.

Once, my friend was in a very tough place in her life where she was depressed and thank God I was able to help her out by making her feel better and helping her overcome that period in her life.

The most rewarding experience was when I helped a newcomer lost elder lady to drop at her home.

Once I visited the old age home in my country with my friends.I never expected it makes the inmates so happy,I could see the happiness glisteening in their eyes. I think it would be the most rewarding experience.

While entering inside I happened to see a beggar without limbs trying to cross the road in that busy traffic. I simply walked towards him lifted him and helped him cross the road. A news photographer who was watching this clicked a photo of me without my knowledge and printed it in the local newspaper. My commander was happy and awarded me for this act of kindness.

The impact I had with an autistic child who attended my work. I helped him with homework and social skills everyday for a year and his self esteem sky rocketed AND his grades improved significantly.

When I volunteered with my therapy dog at an elementary school. I would take him to read with selected students who either had reading disabilities or ADHD. After reading with them for the whole school year two of my students made it on the honor roll for the first time. I was so proud of all the hard work they did and so thankful that I was a part of it.
