"I was raised in Kansas City, KS. I have been interested in teaching and helping people understand since I can remember. My interest in Sign Language began at around 8 years old. I played in the band from 6th grade to one year of University. I have held jobs as a cashier, warehouse, fast food, banking, and assistant H.S. Band Director. I earned an AAS for Sign Language Interpreting in 1991, and a Masters in Education of the Deaf in 2000, the year my daughter was born. She has severe ADHD and sensory integration issues; so I have personal experience with that. Then we were an Army Family for 20yrs. In 2018, we retired to Denver. I started with ILC as a DSP, and have been in job coaching/employment specialist for 2yrs."
