What is your long term career goal?
Advice
What motivated you to become a veterinary assistant? Are you interested in the field but want to get your feet wet first? Think about how this job fits into your long term goals. Here's an example of how you can respond: "I'm interested in becoming a vet tech at a zoo. Learning from you and your staff will help me to acquire the skills and experience I need to move forward in my career." You can keep it simple. No need to discuss all of your future goals. Just share your main career focus. Do some research on the company to see how their values, mission or even types of clients will help you to attain your goals. This will also help you to assess if they are the right company for you.

Maybe a year or so . I want to go and attempt to attend an animal grooming school and maybe some training as a pet handler / dog trainer . I've worked at a high fashion store and found it mostly satisfying and was going to get a paid vacation and later quit, but I was going to get a vacation after 7 mos. 'which is when I would need a vacation anyway. i i'm the type of person who has to see some sort of reward at the end of the tunnel with some benefits if I am to work at a full time position, otherwise I see no real sense in having that type of position. not many employers will do this. i've never worked in a union type job. Mostly private jobs. the fashion job had benefits and was full time. I am not able to be a sales person as my dental work is needed very badly. I need work to take care of my health although I have very good insurance at the present time. Just not covered for dental. that's one of my worries. Good benefits. You can't always get what you want as the song goes. you have to work around it.
