Tell me about your previous work experience as telemarketer.
I received a call with a customer very upset saying they did not order what they are being charged for and that the phone rep lied to them. I listen to their problems and concerns and reassure them that we do not represent the company in that way and am very sorry that they did not get what they asked for.I then proceed and try and save the sale.

Telemarketers are essentially marketers who sell a company's products or services over the phone. Telemarketers are in great demand these days as more and more companies are finding this a more cost-effective way to promote their products and services. There is a lot of flexibility in this role. As a telemarketer you may work from a private office, from home or from a call center.

There are no minimum educational requirements for this job but there are several other criteria that you must meet. Because telemarketers do not meet their customers face to face, outstanding telemarketing skills are vital.
