  • 4. What would you do if your doctor prescribed drugs to you can that could impact your driving?

      How to Answer

Some medications, although legal to take, can make you an unsafe driver. The interviewer would like to know the action you would choose should you need to take any medication that could affect your ability to be safe behind the wheel. Of course, you know that safety comes before anything and that you would take time off to complete the medicinal round.

      2nd Answer Example

"It is imperative that I follow by a strong code of conduct, which includes never putting a passenger at risk. If I could not drive, due to a medication that made me tired for instance, I would ask for a short-term medical leave until the medication round was complete and I obtained a letter from my doctor, clearing me to drive."
