"I am very accustomed to being on my feet most of the day. Before graduating college, I was a server and spent 8 hours a day on my feet. I exercise a lot on my time off and can handle a very physical work load."
As a surgical technologist you will often spend hours at a time on your feet. Tell the hiring manager how you are able to handle that without burning out mid-day.
"I am very sure that I can handle the sights of surgery. In my 3 years as a Surgical Technologist I have yet to come across a surgery that I couldn't handle being around. Understandably, the sights, sounds and smells can be overwhelming from time to time but I have always had a strong resistance to that."
This job is not for the weak of stomach! Talk to the hiring manager about your experience in the OR and how you know that you can handle the sights of surgery.
