Too critical on my self, which has lead me to cut deadlines close so I have managed my time better to account for extra time for me to recieve criticism and make sure that my work is according to company procedures and requirements. Some examples I use is to create lists of the different assignments.

Start working on the new project as soon as I get the instructions. But now I realized that it is better to sped the required time to find out exactly what is required by the management and focus on those aspect of the job.

There was quite a few vendors who were not happy with the payment practice of the company. The main reason for the late payment was missing invoices. The person opening the mail distributed the invoices to the concerned person where they got stuck under the piles. I suggested that I the invoices should come to the accounts payable and get entered in the system and than goes to the required person for approval. So we can keep the track where those invoices are.

When the cooler broke, I realized where to put everything while still having room for the current items in there.

If project is charged twice with different project numbers and different dates just look in depth both projects and compare with payment made by payroll and check the company and check AP any other payment was made thru AP system for any duplication and then correct the project.

In ACCPAC you have to post the corresponding inter-company entries in all the company. Where as in Dynamic GP you only need to enter at one place and system will do the rest.

Macola is very difficult to cut checks as well as searching for items. While syspro is more user friendly in those areas.

I used oracle which has some plus and minuses like other accounting software. Oracle we have to enter every time the details slow.
