I identified expenses produced multiple times for the same reason thereby reducing the over all expenses.
2.
I was able to use a comparative profit and loss to show that expenses in office supplies had gone up dramatically every month. They looked and it seemed they had a lot of those items still on inventory and were still purchasing every month. We implemented a better inventory system and their office supply cost went down.

I keep a day planner of daily tasks that needs to be completed on a daily basis as well as dates when monthly tasks needs to be completed.

In my earlier job,I used to manage the Tax payments well before the due dates and avoid the Interest cost to the company.Similarly, by managing expenses in particular month that could manage the cash in company in well manner.

We prepared budget by the way of previous quarter expenses & based on the market.

We have revised our major cost relating to occupancy and manpower bringing it down to increase our profits, we focused on advertisements and promotional costs to compensate by creating provisions so that overall we remain on the safe side. These are just a few examples.

I sent last cost report to all department managers, then asked them providing budget draft for coming year. After receiving their budget draft, I reviewed all and compared with last year. For some numbers which I don't think they are reasonable, I will discuss with managers.

It is depend of the work.

The final financial report for DGF grant required precise data collection which I did within the time frame by prioritizing and organizing the process of gathering the supporting documentation.

There was a time when our company planned to merge with another company. Eventhogh we were franchisee company, we had to submit our financials audited within a limited time and even our yearly closing was about in a month. This was the time our budget was in final stage and neared deadline. So we did this as if we are closing for the year and completd all schedules and kept the data ready to submit. As we worked as if year end work, only last month data had to add for yearly closing and data collected for budget was used for due deligence. So we could complete all three in one time with little preassure.

About 2 weeks ago I did my first Cash flow projection, under supervision on our SB Chairperson. All the information needed to be as accurately projected, as close to the budgeted figures as possible. I used all the resource from Pastel as well as the 2016 budget to do projections in a very limited amount of time. I double, triple checked all information before forwarding it to the relevant praties.

Every step of production should have quality checking unit till the final destination.

Mistakes happen. I try however to not make uneccessary mistakes. I finish one thing at a time in the order of urgency ( Deadline )first then importance. I control the time of work to times when I am bound to have less disturbances like after school and try to finish urgent work long before the deadline.
