Question 12 of 31

Provide an experience in which your observation of a student helped you to identify unusual behavior.

"Last year I noticed one of the residents was not participating in group activities anymore. Earlier in the year she was very involved and outgoing so this was unusual behavior. I took her out for coffee and asked her what I could do. It turns out she suffered from depression and was having a difficult time. I supported her through it and she agreed to see a doctor who got her into counseling. We remained accountability partners for the year."
