      How to Answer

A successful reporter not only finds the right people to talk to for a story, but also keeps a working relationship with the person or group so they may be able to reference them in the future. The candidate should discuss with the hiring manager how they stay in touch with contacts they have used and how they plan to make his or herself a trustworthy person for that contact to want to help again.
