The employer wants to know how long you will be with them and if you want to grow in this organization. Can this job make you happy for at least five years? The best answer is an honest answer while allowing some room for flexibility. Recognize and communicate what you want and that you know things change and you are willing to adapt and look for opportunities within the company.

"I have found a few different areas in pharmacy that I really love. My immediate goal is to find a position with growth potential so that I can ultimately reach my goal of being a student preceptor/lead pharmacist/regional trainer/clinical pharmacist in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic.
