Rather than recite everything on your resume, explain some of the highlights of your experience. Share what you have learned works for clients and give examples. "I helped a client lose weight by helping them create meal plans and by finding a form of exercise that suited their needs. They didn't like to run, so we focused on weight bearing exercises and stretching." Your success stories will speak volumes to the interviewer and help them to feel confident in your skills.

Yes, I was an intern at Fitness World in Durham, NC. There I helped with a team fitness challenge that was similar to the biggest loser. I helped other trainers with their training regimens and also trained a client consistently throughout the challenge. I also taught a group fitness class, and conducted a few fitness assessments.
