How to Answer
Clearly, the interviewer can read your resume and see the certifications listed. They are more interested in hearing about your education and the training you may have completed to receive those certifications. The interviewer wants to see that you have the qualifications they are looking for.

Answer Example
"I received my Personal Trainer certification from International Sports Sciences Association. I have had my certification for ten years and recertify every two years as required. I am also a certified Nutritionist, which is beneficial when helping my clients with their meal plans. In addition to those certifications, I have my CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications through the American Red Cross."
