About Our Interview Questions

Our interview questions are created by writers, almost all of which, have a long history of recruiting and interviewing candidates. They do not necessarily have experience interviewing or working with companies, careers, or schools, in which they may write for on MockQuestions.com. We do, however, strive to match their background and expertise with the appropriate question sets found on our website.

Our careers, companies, industries, and schools may have duplicate interview questions and answers found elsewhere on our website. Specifically, our companies and our graduate school interviews. For these two, we use the industry in which we believe the company most well-represents and the graduate programs, as the basis for the interview questions and answers that generate for each company or school.

The intent of MockQuestions.com is for our users to build confidence for their job interview, by using our thousands of interview questions and answers as they practice and prepare for their interview. We believe, most of our visitors can become more likely to succeed in their job interview with hard-work and practice. We believe, the key to success is for our users to rehearse with our interview questions while using our answer examples as an idea generator for their own interview answers. We strongly want to discourage users from memorizing our answer examples. That is not the purpose of our website.

About Personal Banker

August 18th, 2017

Personal bankers specialize in finance, banking and investing. Personal bankers oversee the finances in their clients' bank accounts and help clients manage their money better so the risks and returns are well balanced.

You must have a Bachelor's degree in finance and state licensure if you wish to pursue a career as a personal banker. In addition to the educational qualifications, a strong knowledge of investing and the banking industry are also crucial requirements of the job. You must be genuinely interested in finance and investing and also be comfortable with cold-calling and other marketing techniques that are necessary to build a significant client base. Doing an internship will help you learn the skills of the trade and give you much-needed hands-on experience, which is essential to getting a job as a personal banker.

Prospective employers will be reluctant to hire a personal banker who does not have any work experience at all. This is a high-stakes job and their reputation depends on their employers doing a flawless job of managing their clients' finances and investments. You will need to prove that you are capable of meeting their requirements.

The interview questions will revolve around assessing your capabilities. The prospective employer will want to know more about the kind of clients you have handled in your earlier job and what exactly were your responsibilities as their personal banker. When replying, make sure you are as specific as possible about your responsibilities and capabilities. Reading through personal banker mock interview questions will give you a better idea of what kind of questions to expect at your interview.
