Question 1 of 35

Tell me about the most difficult patient you had to treat.

"The most difficult patient I have ever had to treat was a nine-month-old patient who had a fractured arm after being abused. It was difficult treating the patient because she was crying and had to be restrained to apply the cast, and it was heartbreaking. The patient did not have a parent with her because she had been removed from the family, and she seemed so scared. I talked to her in a gentle manner while stroking her head and had a stuffed animal I gave her to help divert her attention. She calmed down quite a bit and started to fall asleep while holding my hand."
