I am so sorry to inform you that your loved one has passed.
I have helped him/her from the core of heart.
I will support to resident emotiona that it is natural everyone has to go.
Ask them to come to the quiet area of the waiting room and let them know what happened using therapeutic communication.
I would tell them I am so sorry, your dtr, mom has passed. Is there anything I can do for you?
I would go up to the family and explain that their family member just passed and that I was sorry for their loss.
I would give them my deepest condolences.
I am also request to my administration to provide me leave.
Careful deal the situation, and ask another staff member to in assist you, with the family member, to direct them to proper course to take.
I would pull the family aside and explain to them what had happened.
