How to Answer
The interviewer asks this question to find out about your career interests and gain insight into topics that motivate you. There is no wrong answer here. What is important is to show passion for the group you are talking about and bring up topical problems affecting that group.

Answer Example
"I am very passionate about the pediatric patient population. Kids are strong and resilient but are not always given the best start when it comes to their health. Infant malnutrition, childhood cancers, and environmental pollutants' health impacts are felt uniquely by this population. I would want to work in research and clinics that address this issue as a Nurse Practitioner."
