About Mortgage Banker Assistant

A Mortgage Banker Assistant will speak to customers about the loan options available from their bank. A Mortgage Banker Assistant may also be asked to help lead the branch team by providing them with education and instructing them on various mortgages the bank offers.
A person interviewing for this position should have an outgoing personality, enjoy socializing with customers, have a great deal of responsibility, and be detail-oriented. A candidate that is able to display those characteristics should impress the interviewer.
A successful candidate will also have a passion for banking and the mortgage industry. They should understand the history and know what products the bank that they are interviewing for offers. Come prepared for your interview by visiting the bank/mortgage company beforehand.
