When you engage a third party group for portions of your marketing efforts its essential that you know how to manage expectations, set clear guidelines, and keep the project running smoothly at all stages. Discuss any exposure you have had in collaborating with external agencies for your copywriting, design needs, or more. Be sure to keep your response positive as you may not know if the hiring company exercises this practice. For instance, you want to avoid saying something like, 'I would never recommend hiring an external agency for creative work. It's too challenging to bring on outside influences into a project.'
