I take into consideration what people that are most likely to buy that product are into. I see if there are any particular lifestyle needs that are relevant. I scan various places where they are likely to shop to take full stock of the competition to see what they are doing right and what they could possibly be lacking. I compare that to the product I am selling to see what the advantages are. Then I take into account what the price points of similar products are to see whether the customers are more open to higher end products with higher price points or if they are just looking for something that meets their needs and have lower income to spend on that particular product.

As a business owner of a craft business I wanted to pursue something that always interested me and in the process of finding those materials and researching what was needed I discovered a love of learning how to make a business better and how to make it profitable. In XYZ Analytics, I have solely handled the so many projects as it was a start up company so I had to look after so many things and successful completion of the project, you can say was my achievement.

Yes, I have worked in a team environment. Where we used to work in a group making presentations and presenting the same. I used to make the power points and always introduce the case of the topic in the presentation and give conclusions for the same.

The most recent instance is working on the Unilever study, which was a 28 brand study and had to be cohesive in the structure of the models for all the brands. The brands were divided into categories and I was the spoc for one such category. This was a complex project as there was a lot of customization required compared to a normal study, I, along with all the senior members of the team worked really hard to deliver the results within the timeline and to maintain seamless communication.

I feel my most successful research project was learning how people search for things and what grabs their attention was my most successful feat. Also, the research that went into finding all the necessary information to make an educated decision.

The most successful research project would be Project Helios wherein eight of the subcategories under Mobile Accessories were under scrutinization and would have been paused due to high IPS/low NPS. I conducted an overall subcategory level analysis, then brand level and then seller level. Faulty and wrong product delivered were found to be the highest occurring issues. I proposed brand rules to be implemented on each brand under each of these eight subcats resulting in a low IPS.

Although a very well known place for artists, I think Etsy, an e-commerce craft platform should be out there more. People do not always understand the importance of handmade items and the emotional connection that goes into them. I think I would expand on the innate desire most people have to be creative or at least be involved in a creative process in ways that speak to their needs of both quality and utilitarian purposes.
