      Answer Example

"In my current role it took me some time to gain the trust of some of the team members. They didn't want a new audit manager at first. One employee in particular was quite rude to me. I took him aside and confronted him on his behaviour, asking if I had personally done anything to offend him. By placing the 'blame' on myself, he realized that I wasn't all that bad and he quickly came around."

"I have had a junior auditor who refused to perform the work that was not initially assigned to them only because the person to whom the work was initially assigned fell ill. I called them for disciplinary and reminded them of how they are expected to behave as a professional, and that professionalism is key."

      Rachelle's Feedback

This example is great but I recommend organizing it a bit so that it's easier for the interviewer to follow.
"I once managed a junior auditor who refused to perform the additional work that was assigned to them, after a coworker fell ill. I called a disciplinary action meeting; reminding the employee that we are a team, and that professional behavior was an expectation. This persons' behavior significantly improved after the fact."
