Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Even though a grocery bagger doesn't ring up transactions or have a cash drawer, the hiring manager asks this question because they cross-train grocery baggers. If the manager needs to open more registers, they have the flexibility to do so if the grocery baggers have been trained.
