"I consider myself to be quite persuasive, particularly when it comes to developing strategic partnerships that result in financial support. I connect the organization's mission to the potential donor's personal and philanthropic interests. Then, I demonstrate how the organization's programs tackle specific social issues and share stories of the ways in which these programs positively impacted the lives of clients. This method usually results in a sincere commitment from the donor."
