      Entry Level Example

"I have one year of experience as a Court Clerk. Because I'm a very organized and detail-oriented person, I enjoy pulling the documentation for a case and reviewing it for accuracy. I dislike the long hours it can create, but it is all worth it in the end."

      Experienced Example

"I have been a Court Clerk for fifteen years now and love this career path, overall. If I had to choose one downside, it would be when a client is rude or feeling anxious and chooses to take it out on me. The positive side is that I can steer them in a positive direction by showing them I am there to assist and make their life simpler."

      Anonymous Answer

"While I do not have experience working in a court environment, I do have experience being in a court environment. While interning with the police department, I got opportunities to get a behind the scenes look on the process that leads to trials, including the processing evidence and the process of selecting a jury. I also got opportunities to see the process of cases that did not go to trial. I appreciated seeing everything that needs to take place before some cases can make it to the courtroom."

      Rachelle's Feedback

It sounds like you have a very well rounded view of what's happening in the court environment, and everything that goes on in plain sight, and behind the scenes. This is an excellent response that should make any interviewer feel very confident in your abilities!
