      Experienced Example

"In my nine years as a building inspector, I am certain that I have seen it all when it comes to structural and foundation issues. The worst I have seen was a commercial building that needed to be evacuated immediately due to danger in the parking garage. I couldn't believe that a previous inspector hadn't condemned the building. This is an example of why it's so important to have people of integrity in this line of work."

      Anonymous Answer

"I am familiar with some of the basic foundation issues: warping walls, windows, or doors that are out of square or don't fit correctly: sloping floors and bad drainage. I've seen windows that have been cracked due to inadequate compaction and settling. Patios that are sloped toward the home and cause water to leak into the house. I know there are a lot more possible issues, and I look forward to learning them."
