OK, I understand. While I cannot answer for exactly how I "had to" do that, I can say that I have been given biblical wisdom as to when it would be right to not obey a rule: if I were to be doing something wrong because I always (can ) know that its wrong.

On the weekends in security we get even stricter on dress codes than we are during the week days. When we deny someone entry for dress code we're told to under no circumstances are we to allow people in, but there have been times when I could see someone really needed to go to the bathroom so I would walk with them to the restroom so they could relieve themselves. Its a great way to show we do think of them as people and to refocus them on our friendly customer service skills despite whatever rule is keeping them out for the time being.
