I've been working for the casino for 5 years now. I know the Seminole Tribe purchased the casino after raising the funds and have since then turned it into one of the top tourist and entertainment destinations in the world. We provide an amazing product to our guests, company, and entertainment in an amazing facility that keeps our daily work lives fresh with new experiences and fast paced which leads to a lot more fun than people would assume you could have while working.

In my time working in security as I've secured various pits and walked around I've taken time in my rounds to observe many of the different games. I have an idea of how they all work, but I know that I"m a focused enough individual that I would definitely learn all the processes necessary to maintain the quality that is expected of a Seminole Hardrock Tampa dealer.

The games that I have had the opportunity to learn, I have learned quickly. After dealing the various games for a few hours, they seemingly become second nature. The few games I have not had the opportunity to learn such as craps, and roulette are on my to-do list, and I have been looking forward to learning them, given the opportunity to be a better, more flexible team player.

What do you feel is the most important skill a blackjack dealer should possess?

"integrity" which very purposely means that the person should not work in that position or quit the job :D

Should know how to count the card fast.

Happy but need to be responsibility as a dealer.

A Good communication skills and presence of mind.

I think one of the most important skills they should posses comes down to how friendly and focused they can be. They need to be able to concentrate on the job to ensure they're dealing it properly according to the process to ensure the guest and the casino both get their fair share out of it and that the experience remains enjoyable for the guests. Entertainment is our product and the dealer needs to be able to sell it to keep them coming back.
