"I was motivated to apply for this role because I have the passion and background to be successful in this position. I would like to use the strong skill set that I developed in my training and the experience I have from my previous roles to contribute to your performance in designing award-winning buildings. I understand that you offer continuous learning opportunities, and I want to learn and improve my skills from your team. Despite having strong skills in drafting, I must say that I am not quite there yet. I need to sharpen my skills and keep improving, and I see a lot of opportunity with your company."
