      Never use negative terminology. Avoid saying things like, 'I did not like my manager,' 'I did not like the environment,' or 'I did not like the team.' Try to focus on the positive and say something about making a change for proper growth or different market opportunities.

      "There is nothing I disliked about my previous job. It was an excellent first position out of college, and I learned a tremendous amount from experienced supervisors and construction managers. The company was a design-build firm, and the project work was mostly focused on residential projects and renovations. I'm now interested in expanding into more complex commercial and industrial projects."
