      How to Answer

If you thrive in group settings, you probably won't do well in a job that requires you to work alone behind closed doors or in a job that requires you to work remotely. Think about your past experiences and your ideal work environment/situation. If you have not had much work experience, think about your projects and assignments in school. Consider which type of work suited you best - working independently or on team projects.

      Answer Example

"In my past role, I spent equal time between collaborating with my team in the office and completing tasks independently when working from home. Typically, we would meet at the start of a new project to brainstorm and delegate specific tasks according to our unique skills and talents. This allowed my team the chance to work together and gave us two days during the week to focus on our own and come back together later to check in with our team leaders."
