About Our Interview Questions

Our interview questions are created by writers, almost all of which, have a long history of recruiting and interviewing candidates. About Aesthetician

Aestheticians are skin care specialists. They are skilled in performing a wide range of beauty enhancing procedures, from extensive facials and exfoliating body wraps to advanced chemical peels and microdermabrasion. They are also trained in different types of hair removal procedures including hot wax and laser and makeup application.

Aestheticians generally work in the beauty and fashion industry. They may be employed by beauty salons, spas and retail outlets. With specialized training, Aestheticians may also work in hospitals and doctors' offices where they educate post-surgical and burns patients on how to care for their skin. You must complete a cosmetology certification course to work as an Aestheticians. Licensure is required to work in this industry. In addition to the educational qualifications you must also be passionate about skin health and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Prospective employers will want to know more about why you chose this particular career and what are your career goals. They will also ask you a few questions to test your knowledge about various skin care procedures. Experience as an Aesthetician is a must to get a job in a more established organization. Spas and salons are extremely careful about protecting their reputation and will only hire an Aesthetician with proven expertise. The best way to get the necessary experience is by doing an apprenticeship with a neighborhood beauty salon and getting a referral from the mentor that you apprenticed under.
