One who is direct, honest, and kind. A person who is going to respect me and make me feel important but knows where to draw the line in terms of employee/employer relationships.

A supervisor who will get the best performance from me is a person who is dedicated to achieving team goals, has a sense of humor, believes in the mission and vision of the organization, someone who is willing to teach the team new things and someone who has faith in their team to perform well when not in their presence.

What did you like and dislike about your previous job?

What I liked was the customer interaction and the fact that it was a high paced environment that kept me busy and made the day go by fast, because of this I had to stay focused and multi-task. I would make list to stay on track.

What I liked about my previous job is working with a diverse group of people. I also like learning about how to better serve youth from different countries. What I disliked about my job is that it ended too soon.

Yes, I am not only a huge supporter of the University, weather it be the Norman campus, Health science center, or the tulsa location. Aside from my qualifications as an administrative professional, I also embody creative qualities that allow me to think outside the box and I believe that will set me apart from the other people who are applying for this position. I believe that it will also be an asset to the company.

Have you ever been overloaded with work?

Yes, multi-tasking to get several projects done is nothing new. I deal with overload by making a list daily and checking items off as I go. I have found that I am more proficient with my work if I am physically seeing myself checking items off the list. I feel accomlished and focused.

Yes. As the lead mentor for the violence prevention program, I had to ensure the daily function of the program ran smoothly, provided transportation for the youth to get home by driving the program's van, I taught several educational classes and I assisted with writing the grant to sustain funding.

Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and sensitivity to privacy are key to being a successful administrative professional.

The interview will assess your ability to use specific software, as well as your customer service ability.
