During one evening shift at Hollister, I was tasked in doing priority inventory, taking several items inside the stockroom, like shirts and jeans and the like, and cataloguing it into the system to put out on the sales floor. At the time, it was my first time working the electronic equipment, it was a handheld sensor, and I could not figure out much of what to do. I knew the basics because my manager explained the system, however it was difficult since I was cataloguing items to put out later. To resolve the issue, at the time, really, I asked for clarification from my manager and he showed me exactly what to do and how to work the sensor.

Well, I am still in high school so first, I plan on graduating with a steady job so I can help pay for my NOVA education with a successful transfer. I plan on studying the sciences while keeping a steady income. My ultimate goal is to earn my Ph.D and successfully gain a reputable job within the field of biology.

I chose to apply to Wegmans because, well I was referred here by an employee, however I very much admire the excellent service given by the people that work here and I would love to be a part of that. And to be completely honest, my current job has no room for opportunity and I believe it time for me to look at places that do and what best place to look at than Wegmans?

If I had to choose, I would say my greatest strength is my ability to get along with almost everyone. Many people would say I am very outgoing and I love people in general so I would consider that a definite strength.

To be quite honest, I love helping people, however the point I would consider this a weakness is when I would get wrapped up in other peoples problems and I would stress myself out more than necessary. I do not however, regret helping anyone. I love helping people and would love to continue helping people.

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is a family-owned U.S. regional supermarket chain headquartered in Gates, New York, near Rochester. Wegmans has 85 stores in the mid-Atlantic and New England regions, in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
