Moreover, don't forget that the recruiter will probably assess your prerecorded interview, so it's crucial to make a good impression. Make sure your lighting is balanced and keep eye contact with the camera, as if you're having a face-to-face conversation. Make sure the camera is at eye level. If it's positioned too low, it might make you seem arrogant or autocratic. When the camera is positioned too high and pointed down at you, it can make you seem weak or small. Also, find a spot with natural lighting and ensure that the light is evenly distributed on your face. Direct your gaze towards the lens instead of looking at yourself on the screen.
