I would tell them what they are doing is wrong and that they are going to get caught. If they refused to return or pay for the item and depending on how they reacted to me calling them out I would either walk away and have nothing to do with them, or I would tell a cashier.
That stealing is not okay. Return the money right away or i'll tell the manager.
Stealing is wrong and is has consequences of loss of job and jail time. I would ask them to return money or a manager will be notified. It is a clear choice.
I would likely confront them or possibly if that is not a good answer, then speak with the manager about that.
I would attempt to persuade them to make their wrong right by returning the money and apologizing, if that failed then I would inform the appropriate authorities.

I never argue with customers. I listen to their issues and respond back calmly so as to not escalate the problem. I try to find the best solution possible to diffuse the situation.

I would report that co-worker to my supervisor immediately and let my supervisor handle the situation.
I would secretly go tell the manager that they tried to ask me to steal because that can affect my job and the stores profit in some ways.
Tell them no and report them.
I would tell them that i'm not a thief and let me supervisor know what's going on.
I would refuse and discourage them by explaining the consequences of such wrongful behavior. Then immediately report it to a supervisor.

Let them know that my store at CompUSA was in the top 5 for customer service out of 200+ stores three months out of six while I was the customer service manager. Also give them example about angry CEO for brewing company.
I would demonstrate it by is greeting the customer, answering the questions that they are asking honestly and happily.
Try to treat all customers the same, always go above and beyond with everything you do.

Yes, the employee spent extra time to work with me to choose the right DVD player. They conducted themselves in a way that they were in the running for winning a Nobel Prize for DVD player sales. They were very enthusiastic to help me.
I guess I have never received anything special to remember. I guess if an employee makes eye contact and says hi, or at least agnoledges that im present, then they are doing good.

Any situation involving co-workers. Of course you are not going to agree all the time about how something should be done but there is no point in arguing. Also when it comes to a customer, you should not continue to argue with a customer.
I would have to say that sometimes a well calculated decision made quickly is better than a decision that is argued over and planned out in detail.
With co workers brcause they have more experience than me so they must be right.
