Question 1 of 35

If we hired you today, what would you accomplish first?

"I'm very goal-oriented, so once I understood the scope and responsibilities of the role, I would focus on getting to know each member of the team I would be working on. I would set goals for 30, 60, and 90 days and initially, I would focus on training and onboarding so that I could learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. If there were urgent projects in place, I would jump in and support wherever I could to support the team. I would then seek to understand the department's goals and what my manager's expectations were for me and implement those KPIs in my weekly and monthly goals."

      1st Answer Example

"When we were speaking earlier about sales targets in this position, you mentioned that most new sales professionals hit their KPIs after 120 days. If I were hired today, my goal would be to exceed my KPI's after the first 90 days. My goal, consistent with Procter and Gamble's values, will be to focus resources to achieve leadership objectives and strategies. I plan to make a positive impact very quickly and show that I am a perfect fit for P&G's culture of mastery, innovation, and passion for winning."

      Marcie's Feedback

It's great that you plan to exceed your KPIs and provide research/analyses for the company. Nice! If you want to, you could also discuss tasks that you would complete in the beginning days of the new job like introducing yourself to colleagues and clients, taking time to learn about P&G's products, and speaking to your manager about what success looks like in your new role.
