I have been lucky enough to work with some great people and have not experienced conflict with a boss in the past. Although my previous employer was much older than me, and displayed some old-school, antiquated leadership techniques, I set boundaries early on and adapted, and accepted their way of doing things. But we were both pretty clear communicators, and conflict never arose. I believe that it's my job as a professional to adapt to all types of people, and respect leadership even when I disagree with decisions they make. If I were to experience conflict in the workplace, I would address the situation right away through conversation. So I did my best to not internalize whatever it was they were going through and kept my distance and my focus on myself. Try to be as flexible as possible with your availability, while exhibiting a thoughtful approach.
