Think about a difficult boss, professor, or coworker you have had in the past. What made them difficult, and how did you successfully interact with this person?

"Over the last two years, while obtaining my degree, I worked a retail position in the evenings to help support myself. We had a regular customer who was extremely demanding and rude to all staff. I learned quickly that service with a smile was vital to her because she was a very loyal and passionate customer. I'd like to say that I grew a thick skin when working with her because there were a couple of times when she got upset that I didn't know the exact product she was looking for when I first started. I told her I wasn't aware and that I'd check our inventory quickly for her and talk with a colleague. I then worked diligently to find what she needed. I think this is a vital skill to have in this role at Jetstar Airways."
