I was an a apprentice which worked along side shadowing a well experienced skilled master technician and I made the most of all I could do to learn from him.

I have never developed a training program but I have done a lot of self taught training through work just through trial and error and learning from mistakes which has helped the company's that I have worked for because I have discovered ways that flow a lot easier and are more productive. For example when I came into Century 21 they were using the MLS system as a way of keeping track of Spencers propertys. I decided that it would be more benificial to keep track of all these propertys through a spreadsheet where the property would be listed and the colomns would have a seperate section for each one of those propertys (consumers energy, DTE if those utilitys were on and off, who the muninciple office was and what was the balance left on that account for that property, any notes that I had on that property were used to give status updates to send to the realtor and to communicate accounts payable with Fannie Mae and Freddie mac.

When we created an online curriculum for the school district, all the teachers were overwhelmed at the idea of a stringent timeline for lessons and indicators. I suggested that we all look over the indicators for each subject and see which concepts could be taught in each class that complimented indicators in other classes and that we try to match them up so the students could learn the concepts more efficiently and that way we could relieve some of the stress from each teacher by sharing responsibility for each grading period loaded online. After I suggested this idea, everyone seemed to have an easier time and came to me when they had a question.

When I am writing first, I brainstorm ideas about the topic, then I research the topic and gather sources. After that, I structure the information into outline form (or make a rough draft) to put the information in a logical order, then I edit and correct any errors and print the final draft.
