Facebook Interview Questions & Answers

  1. 1.

What would you have done if we did not show up to this interview, today?

      How to Answer

Although this question may seem odd and out of place, this is a query that Facebook interviewers are known to ask. This hypothetical, scenario-based question is meant to test your problem-solving abilities. The way you respond will show the interviewers your confidence level, how you strategically think when placed in uncomfortable situations, and how driven you are to reach your goals. Describe what you would do to chase this opportunity with Facebook and ensure that you gained the attention of their hiring managers.

      Rachelle's Answer

"One of Facebook's core values is to 'Be Bold.' The company believes that building great things means taking risks. Facebook's saying, 'The riskiest thing is to take no risks,' resonates with me, and I agree that if I didn't take a risk and make a bold move in this situation, I would fail in achieving my goal of working at Facebook. If you did not show up to this interview today, I would show up every day until I could get your attention! I must gain a shot at working for Facebook, so I would do what it took to capture your attention and have a chance at proving why I would be worth interviewing."

      Rachelle's Answer

"'Be Bold,' one of Facebook's core values, comes to mind. Facebook believes that building great things means taking risks, and the company's saying, 'The riskiest thing is to take no risks,' stands out to me. This statement means that if I didn't take a risk and make a bold move in this situation, I would fail at achieving my goal, which is to have a career at Facebook. If you did not come to the interview today, I would ask the HR team to rebook me for a time when you were available later in the day. Then, I would wait at the office until I had the opportunity to showcase my value."
