Of course, we hope to get along with everyone while facing minimal interpersonal issues. Despite these efforts, conflicts may occur, and disagreements may arise. These situations require swift attention, so they are not blown out of proportion or left to simmer.
Discuss a time when you faced a miscommunication with a team member. Be honest with the interviewer, but avoid an extreme example that could raise red flags. Discuss how you smoothed the situation. You can even mention how you repaired your relationship with that team member. Your example can be from either school, work, sports, volunteer, or everyday life. I emailed the administrative assistant at 9 AM, asking them to please complete the task by 10 AM, to which they refused on account of being too busy. Choosing Audit, you will need strong people and communication skills. Tax generally requires less interpersonal and client-facing work and entails more reading and research.

Students compete for a spot through a video interview and then move onto an on-campus interview. The competition is competitive, and typically, students need to be enrolled in an undergraduate business or accounting program and be interested in pursuing their CPA designation. The successful student applicants must be available for a summer internship or a full-time opportunity the following year.
Recruiters look for mature candidates who show enthusiasm for a career with Ernst and Young. If you are one of the individuals chosen to attend the Emerging Leaders Program, it's a great sign that the EY Recruiters see you as a top-notch potential candidate for their firm.
EY's Emerging Leaders' Program is considered an 'externship.'
