2. What questions do you have for me?
How to Answer
It's always a great idea to have questions ready for the interviewer. Review the company website and other online resources to ensure the queries you have are not mundane, or redundant. The last thing an interviewer wants to hear is a list of items you could have found the answers for from merely watching a video on Dropbox' website!

3. Roughly work out how many Dropbox users there are in the United States right now.
How to Answer
This question is a skill-testing question not because the interviewer needs you to give a perfect answer, but because they want to see how you go about solving problems. It is easy to say you are mathematically minded by nature, but it's another to 'show your work.' This question is commonly asked in Dropbox interviews and for that reason, well worth preparing a solid answer to. To have a great response, you should know offhand how many users Dropbox has overall and other helpful statistics.

4. How would you explain the cloud to someone with zero internet experience?
How to Answer
Technical terms and methods can be confusing to anyone outside of the industry. Some say that if you cannot quickly explain what you do in layman's terms, then you do not understand it well enough. You should be able to explain everything that you do, on a Grade 8 level. The interviewer is testing to see if you can do this. Keep your reply brief and try to keep your words under three syllables!

Dropbox has suffered highly publicized hacks, leaving customer information vulnerable and passwords exposed. It's a terrible situation for any company to face, and the interviewer wants to know how you would react in a time of crisis, such as this. If you have ever encountered a similar situation with a past employer, you can discuss it as long as you are not disclosing private information by doing so. Cyber attacks are becoming more advanced every day. How would you react?

"When Dropbox suffered a cyber attack in 2012, I read that the hack was due to a Dropbox employee using the same password between corporate Dropbox accounts and a personal LinkedIn account. First, I would announce that practice to be against policy, which would result in termination. Second, I believe it's important to put out the media fire as soon as possible. News of a hack will get out, one way or another, so it's better if the company that suffered the attack is the first to announce, with a plan already in place. Next, I would ensure that each customer was contacted via an urgently placed email, prompting them to change their passwords. Overall, the most important action is to own the incident and be public about the changes you are making as a company to avoid the situation from repeating itself."
