No matter how fantastic the customer service, there will always be a customer who is unhappy about something. The interviewer would like to know if you can handle the stress and pressure associated with an angry customer mid-flight.

If you have received airline training related to situations like this, tell the interviewer what you know and understand to be a proper response. If you have not received related training, use your instinct, and give the best possible answer. It is a good idea to mention that you look forward to receiving proper in-flight training from Delta.

The interviewer is trying to get to you know aside from the facts provided on your resume. This type of warm-up question is most likely to be used at the beginning of an interview. You can keep your answer short and sweet by mentioning one place that you love to travel. Don't forget - your answer can be a place in your own backyard! Bonus points if you ask the interviewer where they enjoy visiting. Returning the question can be the start of a friendly conversation and an excellent way to build rapport.
