My mother is in the health profession, and numerous times she has worked when the younger generation calls in with various reasons why they can't make it to work, and my mom is 76. My dad had to retire medically due to eye disease, and he has persevered spending more time on his farm and still works there 5-6 days a week, and he is 80."
