Being a great listener is no doubt important when it comes to solving problems. After all, you need to understand the problem first, right? You might also talk about how you try to identify the root causes of the problem, remain persistent and optimistic, seek outside inspiration, make lists of possible solutions, ask others, aim to be resourceful and maintain an outside-of-the-box perspective. Also, provide an example of a time when you successfully solved a complex problem to show the interviewer that you're capable in this area. Good job!
