"Last year, I noticed our closing staff struggled to get everything done before the end of the shift. We often had to stay late, resulting in overtime hours. I want to give them as much time as possible to find someone to cover my shift."

I felt like I was being thrown into the deep end every day for my first six months, but I worked hard and learned a lot. My favorite position was with XYZ Company, where I worked in college. I was far more confident to dive in, and I was given more responsibility. After I had been there for a year, I started training new employees, which I enjoyed. I also liked the company culture. It was supportive and encouraging and gave us opportunities to advance, which I appreciated."
